Job Responsibilities:

● Plan and implement daily lessons for students based on school curriculum.
● Manage all aspects of the classroom (including but not limited to: instruction, discipline, communication etc.)
● Perform assigned teacher duties on a rotating schedule with rest of the faculty.
● Communicate student progress with parents through in person and online systems.
● Engage in co-curricular programs.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Studies or related field.
-Qualifications needed for MSDE secondary certification.

STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Position Summary:
Archbishop Curley High School invites applications for the position of a part-time Staff Accountant available immediately.  Located in
Baltimore, Archbishop Curley High School is a Roman Catholic college preparatory school rooted in the Franciscan tradition and
dedicated to the development of the Curley Man who is challenged to reach his maximum academic and personal potential leading
him to be a man of faith, character, discipline, and service to others.
Job Responsibilities:
The Staff Accountant role will support the Vice President of Finance on all financial matters including but not limited to the
following:
● Reviewing interim financial statements and conducting various P&L analyses
● Processing Payroll with discretion and respecting the confidentiality of all salaries and benefits.
● Reconciling and preparing supporting schedules
● Managing accounts payable
● Assisting with accounts receivable
● Preparing bank reconciliations
● Preparing journal entries
● Assisting with the annual budgeting process
● Providing assistance with the year-end external audit and required AOB audits.
In addition, the individual in this role should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and should be able to balance
various different tasks or projects as they arise while still supplying timely financial data. Another unique aspect of this role will
include working with employees and handling benefits as they relate to payroll as well as educating employees on various HR
items controlled by the AOB.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent in related work experience
-Knowledge of principles of general ledger accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-Experience with QuickBooks
-General knowledge of fund accounting and restricted cash
-Strong attention to detail

BAND DIRECTOR

Located in Baltimore, Archbishop Curley High School is a Roman Catholic college preparatory school rooted in the Franciscan tradition and dedicated to the development of the Curley Man who is challenged to reach his maximum academic and personal potential leading him to be a man of faith, character, discipline, and service to others.

Job Responsibilities:
● Oversee and lead the instrumental performing ensembles in rehearsals, performances, and competitions.
● Plan and implement daily lessons for students based on school curriculum and in line with Catholic teachings.
● Manage all aspects of the classroom (including but not limited to: instruction, discipline, communication, etc.)
● Communicate student progress with parents through in-person and online systems.
● Create and maintain a flexible rehearsal schedule.
● Engage in co-curricular programs.
● Engage in professional development opportunities.
● Understand and convey Archbishop Curley High School’s mission and vision.

Qualifications:
● A bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Education, Applied Music or a related field and documented performing and/or
conducting experience in the genres of concert band, drumline, and jazz band.
● The ideal candidate will have an MSDE certification in Music for grades 9 -12.
● Prior experience directing and administering a school instrumental music program preferred.
● Experience teaching all levels of high school instrumental music and pedagogical skills that encourage students’ critical
thinking.
● Understanding of the need for curriculum development and academic collaboration.
● Is attuned to the needs of 21st century students.
